Description
the fibers are nestled within a high modulus plastic loose tube, packed with a water-resistant filling comp-
ound. This tube is then enveloped in corrugated steel tape, layered with water-blocking material to ensure
a tight, waterproof seal. Two parallel steel wires flank the sides of this setup, and the cable is finally coated
with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.
